STEAM Challenge Georgia – Educational Olympiad for School Students successfully completed

The first fully interdisciplinary STEAM Olympiad was held in partnership with STEAM!t and Skillwill.
In the first stage, students took a competency-based test, while the final round challenged them with a hands-on engineering task that could be solved in multiple creative ways.
Teams were formed from grades VII-XI, with each student contributing equally to their group’s success.
Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, addressed participants and joined the award ceremony.
The Olympiad was supported by: Liberty, the Rezo Turanava Foundation for Technological Education Development, and Making Science • Sweeft.
Winners:
🥇 1st Place: Komarov Tbilisi Public School #199 (Physics & Mathematics)
🥈 2nd Place: Modern Education Academy
🥉 3rd Place: Argveti Public School (Named after Paolo Iashvili, Sachkhere Municipality)
STEAM !t founders Medea Abramishvili and Mamuka Apakidze addressed the participants and spoke about the importance of such events for the popularization of STEAM education in Georgia.Thank you to all participating students and teachers!
